Discriminatory Practice
Finally, I am going to talk about discriminatory practice within a care setting, discriminatory practice is bad or inappropriate care being given to the residents within the setting. In this section I am going to talk about why we should not do certain things in the setting and as a care worker we need to ensure we remain professional at all times while giving the residents care. We also want to ensure that no matter what the situation is you should still continue to give the best care possible. There are three main key factors we need to ensure that we do not do these are not being judgemental, not stereotyping others and not labelling others for what they look like or what you have heard.
