Hey my name is Felitaceles Spikes but I prefer to be called Felita. I am from Jasper Texas and I am currently located in Jasper Texas. I am 22 years old, been married for 4 years and i also have a son and he is 18 months. My motivation for coming back to school is my son and my husband because I want to give my son a better life and with an education it can be done and also to make more money to support my family. My degree is Early Childhood Development I am currently in this field and been in it for 3 years, I plan on opening my own daycare when I get my degree I want to be my own boss. My husband has been the greatest influence in my life with helping me to continue my journey to get my degree he encourage me in every way when I feel like giving up he always tell me I can do it and he remind me why I am doing it in the first place. Taking Classes online is so different for me because I am so use to having the help right there when I have a problem, but so far the Ashford University teachers has shown me that they also can help me when I need help all I have to do is call them are email them and they will do their best to help me and that gives me great confidence that I can get my degree. My expectations of my instructors are just to be there when I have a question are need help because when I don’t understand something I ask help for help and try to get a understanding, so that’s ask of you is to be
