1). Do you think baptism is necessary to have the full effects of Jesus' forgiveness of sins?
While it is recommended, I do not believe it necessary to have the full effects of Jesus’ forgiveness of sins. Baptism signified the cleansing of sin that we are born with. I believe what is more necessary in receiving such grace is by accepting God in our heart, acknowledge that Christ dies for our sin and repentant of our sin.
2). What is the purpose of baptism? Is it a sacrament which brings about the fullness of Jesus' forgiveness of sins? Or is it just a public proclamation of faith?
