Creating the Earth and the people on it must have taken a great deal of effort and energy. Then to have them betray the creator or have them meticulously perfect that they don’t work out. Having to punish the people that you created or to destroy the impeccable race to create another would damage anyone, and it takes a great deal out of someone to undo their effort. The banished will learn to manage the odds and ends on their own and the second race will learn how to manage on their own way. Both stories tell us of betrayal and disobedience and how God took care of both problems. This just happens to work out as the circle of life; create, live, destroy, and recreate.
