General Information:
Glenn was on time and professionally dressed for the interview. He has a brother that is currently attending UNM. His mother works in a lab and his father is a pediatrician at IHS. He has a very strong religious base and he uses that foundation to help guide him. He stated that his friends would describe him as a perfectionist, dependable/trustworthy and hard-working.

Background and Experience:
He has a passion to serve people like his parents. He spoke elegantly on how his father had to go to Afghanistan to help serve people in need. As a child, he did not understand why his father traveled so much. However, as he got older he understood the importance of serve and giving back and serving the needs of those less fortunate than him.

He has done extensive traveling. He spoke of trip to Nigeria where he was able to work with a lady that was helping other ladies get food for their children, He said this trip was a wake-up call for him and the need that there is in the world to help starving families.

He has shadowed Dr. Mary Pole. He stated that he want to aspire to be like her. He was able to learn a lot during this shadowing experience. This experience helped to solidify his desire to be a doctor.

Diversity:
Glenn defines diversity as a set of people with differences that come together despite their differences. Diversity can be anything from gender to race and personality to general beliefs. Diversity in the learning environment it is critical. He believed that diversity in the classroom has allowed him to understand himself because people will ask you questions and you have to be able to explain your belief, culture and customs. Diversity allows everyone to work together and share a different prospective.

Letter of Recommendations:
He letters are very supportive. They speak of his intelligence, curiosity, leadership and work ethic.
