1. What is diversity? Why is diversity valued?
Diversity is the state having people who are in different races or cultures all in one group. Diversity is valued because it provides equal treatment to all members of a community regardless of race, ethics, sexual orientation, or any disabilities. 2. What is ethnocentrism? In what ways can ethnocentrism be detrimental to a society?
Ethnocentric is the belief that one group or culture is more superior than the other is, usually from the dislike of the other group. Ethnocentrism can be detrimental to a society, owing to the fact that it can cause us to make premature judgments about other cultures or races that we would not make if we were not ethnocentric. It cause also cause us to make assumptions about others. (American Psychological Association)

3. Define emigration and immigration.
Emigration and immigration or the sort of the same, because when you use the two term it means that you are moving to a different country or region. Emigrate means that you are a leaving out of a different country or region. When immigrate means that you are a going into a different country or region.
