The Domino’s booger incident took place on Easter Sunday, April two-thousand-nine.
Two employees had put on YouTube one of the employees put cheese up their nose and placed it on a customer’s sandwich. This unusual event was called the “Boogergate” (York & Wheaton, 2009). Nevertheless, Domino’s did not respond to this outrageous act until that Monday. Domino’s owner and the health department were advised of this outrageous act on Tuesday morning. Throughout the day a response the employer posted on twitter this outrageous event. Accordingly, the Domino website set up a page for customers to tell them about the crisis (Zerillo, 2009).That Wednesday Domino targeted the people who are on the internet a lot to get their message out about the situation.
