Although is is never stated directly, the underlying tone in almost every article Dana Milbank writes makes it possible to infer that he is not a fan of Donald Trump. The majority of articles that Milbank writes contain a negative message about Trump, even if it is not expressed outright. Milbank does not directly state who he voted for, or even that he does not like Trump. Instead, he uses his column to talk about actual issues and how Trump is affecting them. Through his commentary on these issues, it can be inferred that he is not a fan of the current president. Milbank demonstrates that Trump is very deceptive. He points out that any time Donald Trump knows about news that will not be popular, he does a lot of crazy things to distract the media.
