Final Paper Assignment In Dave Berry’s column about crazy drivers, Dave explains that there is no city that can compare to Miami, Florida. According to Dave, Miami is at the top of the charts for the world’s craziest drivers. The argument that Dave is making in his column, “Driving While Stupid” is that Miami is the most dangerous city to drive in because people in Miami don’t take precautions. The most dangerous driving that he comes across is on interstate 95 which is in the heart of Miami. Dave has drove in many other cities, but nothing compares to interstate 95. Dave has drove through Boston before. When he was in Boston, Dave drivers there would race to jump the drawbridge just as it was getting ready to rise into the air. Dave has also drove in other countries as well! In Italy, there is only one law that must be followed. The law that must be followed is, “No driver may …show more content…
As Dave was driving down the interstate he heard this stereo coming from the car behind him. He heard the car approaching before he seen it. The car was driving very fast; the car wasn’t following the speed limit. Once the car had passed, Dave seen the most dangerous thing. The guy in the car was watching a music video while driving! The car had a screen on the sun visor that was playing the video. The car kept weaving in and out of the lane, luckily there were no other cars around him. Dave wasn’t too worried about the weaving. He says that he sees everything and that nothing surprises him. He has seen people on the phone, eating, reading, changing CD’s, putting on makeup, and brushing their teeth.
