Picks up where book 8 leaves off. Zed and Uncle go on a run to a hospital to get needed supplies and end up with a doctor, Leta, who just broke up with her boyfriend and who kicked her out of their apartment. They go to Atlanta and Hannibal Silo has a group of mercenaries attack the hospital. Meanwhile, Tank's group is trying to join up with the Drunk Monkeys. A vaccine is developed for Kite, but now the Drunk Monkeys have to go on the run again, this time to Canada. They pick up Tank's group of hackers along the way and get them to safety, and Tank is the heroine for book 10. Book 9 ends with an HEA for Uncle, Zed, and Leta, and reveals Tank's true identity as one of Gen. Arliss' special operatives, who will end up with Papa and Alpha in book
