My freshman year, I started the Drury Leadership Development Program (LDP) which includes extra coursework, leadership experiences, and experiential learning requirements. Participating in the LDP at Drury has put me in a notable leadership roles on campus and helped me gain entrance to much sought after leadership and program slots including: Drury Enactus (formerly SIFE), Alternative Spring Break, Summit Park Residential Leadership Community, Drury Student Senator, Presidents’ Roundtable, and Freshman Orientation Leader. Today, if I could sum up my participation in leadership and extracurricular activities, it would be: meaningful involvement. I do not take these opportunities lightly. Every opportunity to lead and serve helps me be a stronger leader, better architect, communicator and co-worker. While test scores, grades and class rank are important, my current activities and life experiences both in and out of the classroom are enriching my educational foundation.
