With the multitude of social media site posts and text messages, young people are now writing more than ever. Technology is changing the way the young people write, “technology isn’t killing our ability to write. It’s reviving it -- and pushing our literacy in bold new directions” (Source 7). Using Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, etc., the people are documenting every part of their day in a way that hasn’t been done before. They have adapted to write to grasp the attention of a particular audience, mostly their peers, trying to keep them interested.
