In the essay “Dumped” by Helen Fisher, she eloquently explains the brain chemistry when facing a break up. Through Fisher’s work, she facilitates the ability to understand the biological chemistry of the brain and how it works in romantic situations. The way the brain systems are set up give all human population that sense of realness and, in fact, humanity. Even though the brain is in charge of all suffering, reactions, feelings and emotions that are experienced toward every situation, it is arranged the way it is for a reason and changing any part of it would be very risky.
