“In Responce to excecutive order 066” by Dwight Okita and “Mericans” by Sandra Cisneros’ both deveop the common theme of their ancestors national identity by using point of veiw, they both use a similar tone, and they use imagery to help describe their situations.
In both Dwight Okita’s poem and Cisnero’s story they use a similar tone that helps develop a common theme. They are both sad and unhappy about their current situations. They use the tone sadness because want to be treated properly and fairly because they are american citizens. They both use sadness to decribe how are treated poorly because of their ancesters ethnicity which makes them upset. They both are unhappy with the way they are going to live.
