Charlie was assessed today in an Eagle Wings preschool classroom that included children from 3-6 years of age. The classroom was bright and furnished with small tables and chairs, cubbies, play items, a large carpet area and artwork on the walls. The furniture was child-sized; Charlie was able to touch his feet to the floor and appeared comfortable while sitting at the table for this assessment. A thin, temporary divider separated the classroom from another and voices could be heard from the other class. Charlie did not appear to be affected by the noise. He seemed focused and at ease in his classroom.
