Green how do she integrate the eight C’s into her lesson plan and she went over the “Ball” theme to give me an idea of how she does her activities for the day. First she stated, “I sings songs to the children to keep them engaged in learning and I ask lots of open-ended questions”. She also stated, “I give the children jobs to do and make sure they are staying on task with the job duties in the classroom”. But when it comes to the lesson plan I challenge the children by reading books and having them to draw or write about what they have seen in the book. Now the children are being creative by making their own art of what kind of ball they have seen in the book. For example: I read a book called “Bounce” and once I was done read I ask some open-ended questions like: What balls bounce high and what balls bounce very low? The children were very eager to answer the question. Then next we had a competition going on, the child had to run from one end of the classroom to the other side while bounce a ball and was timed to how fast they could get down there and back. Then the curiosity was asking the question what inside of a bouncy ball, tennis ball, golf ball, basketball, softball, and soccer ball? This will give the children a chance to cooperate with one another to investigate. The child is making a connection about how balls bounce, what is inside of the ball, and what kinds of balls there are. Of course there will be some controversy between the children
