Edgar Allen Poe was talking Ebola when he was writing the “Masque of the Red Death”. Why I think this is because there are loads of similarities between the diseases. For instance a big one the he used was the blood. “Blood comes out of your eyes nose and you vomit blood also” that is what the article “outbreak” stated. In Poe’s story he also mentions bleeding from the pores, and nose. But it also says that he might be writing about tuberculosis also. Tuberculosis is a disease where you cough up your own lung. Witch results in also coughing up blood also. So from all the similarities the puking, coughing up blood is the biggest one from both diseases.
