CIT Reflection Ecclesiastes 3 The excerpt from Ecclesiastes is very similar to the ten commandments from God. However, it is written differently and can be understood in a more personal way. Not everyone has done things in the ten commandments such as killing or stealing. In verses one through eight, it is more of a statement of how we should live our lives as opposed to what humans should or should not do.
