Role of ECE facilitator in block play is very important. Facilitator should play with children and encourage them to play. Facilitator can ask questions while they are engaged in the play. This will help children to develop their language as well as social skills. Facilitator can ask questions to the children while they play together and this will help them to improve the thought process. Facilitator can encourage children to build different shapes and this will help to improve children imaginary and creativity skills. Facilitator can also ask questions such as - what shape is this, what you making, what color is this - while they play will help to improve the reasoning skills of children.
