Have you ever wonder how animal testing effects animals? Animal testing is companies testing products on animals to see the affect of it, and if it is safe to use. Animal testing is mainly used with medicine use and cosmetic purposes. Animal testing should not be used because it cause extreme discomfort and pain to animals; also animal testing is very inhumane.
First, animal testing should not be used because it causes extreme discomfort and pain to animals. “The test involves applying a small amount of the substance under study to an animal’s eye or skin for several hours, and then observing whether or not irritation occurs oven the following week or two.” (Source D).
