Another popular tradition I found for El día de los Muertos is that they bring toys and balloons to the graves of the children who have passed away. Something I found interesting was that they often referred to the children who have passed away as, “Little Angles.” On November 1st (also known as “All Saints Day”) is when this festive holiday begins, and it ends on November 2nd (Also known as “All souls Day”).
