There is an old saying that states, "Experience is the best teacher." I believe this is very true. We should learn from the mistakes that we and others make. I think it is important to learn from other people's experiences, so we don't make the same mistakes the mistakes again and again. Someone that has shared their experiences with me is my dad. He learned from his mistakes and is trying to teach me so that I don't make the mistakes he made. He has taught me how to drive, outdoor skills, and mending things. My father taught me to drive. He taught me how to build a fire. My parental figure of a man also taught me how to build a fire so I could cook food and stay warm. He also taught me to fish. He taught me how because when he was younger he liked to cast and reel and thought I would like to fish. When we got done with the outdoor skills he taught he taught me how to mend things. My daddy also taught me how to mend stuff . He taught me how to change the oil in the truck. My dad taught me how to change the oil because one day I'll have to do it. He also taught me how to change a flat. He taught me how to change a flat because if I'm on the road and the tire goes flat I'll know how to change it. My dad knows all about being on the road because he was a truck driver and was always on the road. My old man has taught me many good and helpful deeds. He taught me how to manage a vehicle , repair , and outdoor skills. My dad is someone very important in my life. I hope my dad shares experience with me for a while longer.
