Elizabeth Cady Stanton impacted the world in the eyes of women everywhere and with her continuous devotion and dedication she has significantly contributed to American history. Cady Stanton is many things: a wife, mother but most importantly a revolutionary thinker. When she was just 11 years old, after the death of her only brother, her father said to her “Oh,my daughter, how I wish she were a boy,” yet despite what he said, and the fact that because of who she is, a woman, everything was limited, she took it as a sign.
