The Abduction of Emelia Howard Emelia Howard was your average sixteen-year-old girl. She attended Redcrest High in the southern part of Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Redcrest High was a place of many memories that she had made. Emelia met her best friend, Julie Steward, there. The two girls met a lot of people, creating the ideal friendship group. In November, Emelia took a liking to one of the boys in her class. His name is Marco Aloisio. They had algebra together, where they talked a lot. Emelia soon introduced Marco to her friend group. As time progressed, Emelia found Marco endearing. In February, Marco had asked Emelia to be his girlfriend. She, of course, accepted. They enjoyed their time together as boyfriend and girlfriend. They barged through the door, just as Marco was dragging Emelia across the floor. She had disobeyed him, and he planned on punishing her. When the police came to the room Marco and Emelia were in, Marco panicked. He didn’t want to go to prison. Marco couldn’t take it anymore; he went completely insane. He quickly grabbed his father’s gun, and, before the police could act, he shot himself in the head. Emelia screamed. Everything that had happened mortified her. The police quickly made sure she was okay. Then, they took her to the police station for a screening. Police questioned Emelia, asking what exactly happened. Emelia explained the situation to them, her voice breaking after every sentence. The whole experience traumatized her. She was abducted for four months! What else can you expect? Suddenly, Emelia heard a familiar voice coming from the other room of the police station. It was her mother, too! Terry quickly embraced her traumatized child.
