A Difference in Morals

In the poems “Some keep the Sabbath going to Church” and “Musée des Beaux Arts” Emily Dickinson and W.H. Auden express similar abnormal ideas about their morals and beliefs in their society. Emily Dickinson is discussing her non-traditional faith values while still appreciating and respected the world that god created. A.H. Auden is illustrating his good-hearted tendencies by emphasizing the lack of people’s awareness during pain and suffering.
