The female clerk wasn’t very pleased by the young boys actions so she told her husband and that made him infuriated. Late that night the clerks husband and his half brother kidnapped Emmett and beat him , shot him in the head, tied him up with barbed wire to a fan and shoved him in the river (“Emmett Till”). Even though there was evidence provided the judge still didn’t find the two men guilty. The jurors freed the both men of all their charges and let them walk free. (“Emmett Till”).
