Debate: War Costs Eveyone Every dollar that is wasted on war is a dollar wasted that could be used to feed another person that actually needs the money. This world has faced two wars with tremendous cost to all countries involved, and the United States of America has gone through a war with Russia. One of the biggest costs of war is the human loss that can hurt economies. Most wars have occurred in Third world countries leading to “some of the world's poorest countries have suffered the most from the economic losses of war.” (Defense 2). These countries have been killed by war and have ultimately taking money away from the people. Some of these people really need the money as this takes “more than 10 percent of the country's GDP.” (Defense 6). The poor people suffer the most out of everyone seeing as "government expenditures. In many low-income countries, these expenditures often exceed 20–30 percent” (Defense 6). War has great costs and not all of the costs are financial. Death is a huge tragedy that is present in every war costing the world workers and family members.
