The Alienation and Isolation of Andrew “Ender” Wiggins
“Humanity does not ask us to be happy. It merely asks us to be brilliant on its behalf.” -Orson Scott Card. In the book of Ender’s Game, it changes to many setting that take place in the futuristic years of Earth. Card delineates Ender as an”abused” child in the sense that adults use him for their own purposes— to save the world for the good of mankind. Manipulation is essential to the alienation and isolation of Andrew Wiggins (Ender). For he is the key to the annihilation of the buggers existence and the commander of a prominent army. The book opens up to Ender losing the monitor that has been implanted in the base of his neck. Which leads to him being separated from his peers.
