The last of his pain
How would you feel if a dream solved a problem that has caused you so much pain? Would you believe that was the answer of you disregards it? Dr. Gregory House, a paradoxical physician who loathes his patients but is a genius at treating mysterious ailments. It was like any typical morning at Princeton Plainsboro teaching hospital, Dr. House and his team is working on the diagnosis of a man who came into the emergency room with a swollen tongue and a fever of 103 f. His team is flabbergasted with the fact that House took the patient’s medical history. House believes that the patient's way of trying to talk with the swollen tongue is in a way hilarious.
As Dr. House mocked the guys with the swollen tongue, Dr. Forman the neurologists of the team call House a buttock and says that the patient probably has an infection or allergic to something, he said that he had better things to do like watching a movie. As Forman gathers his belongings to depart, a middle age guy about five feet 9 inches asked for me, I told him that Dr. House is the "skinny brunet" but he recognizes her as the only female part of me team, Dr. Allison Cameron. I guess that the things that make people remember her is that she is honest and commiserated. Me being the sarcastic person I am, answer him by saying "I'm skinny and brunet too". Out of curiosity I questioned him about how he knew Dr. Cameron.
How egocentric can he be, I tell him that “my name is Jason McCann I used to be a patient of yours about a month ago". He answers me by saying to leave the chocolates downstairs. Suddenly everything went completely silent, all movement around Dr. House slowed down to an excruciating pace. The gunshots were not as loud as I had anticipated. The metal fragments spiraling through the air pierced his abdomen and neck without consideration or real meaning or relevance, and with more speed than the fastest of living things. The small wounds in his flesh leaked blood much like the way crying eyes leaked tears. At this moment I felt no pain, no sorrow. I was only amazed by all that surrounded me. I fell to the ground, a dull ache forming in my abdomen, I could still hear nothing and yet I was calm.
As Dr. Forman, Chase, and Cameron rushed to help me, Jason tells them “stop stay away from him". At that moment Jason looks down at me and says "shocking isn't it, who would want to hurt the brilliant Dr. House? Those where the words that I remember because blacking out.
Part II
As Dr. House moves his hands and slowly brings it to touch his face, he looks towards the right seeing Cameron there. “You’re pathetic, judging by the growth of my beard, I'll say I've been unconscious for two days. You've been sitting there the whole time?" House states, not so convincing Cameron say "No". "By the buildup of oils in your hair I'll say you're laying" House states as he laughs, “I was scared, pardon me for caring!” Cameron answers him sincerely. She started explaining to me about my surgery, I really did not care, the only I had to say, if you're going to get shot do it in a hospital. The nurses start to bring someone next to be to bet roommate and I noticed that it's Jason, “he was shot by the hospitals securities" Cameron states.
Dr. House starts detaching all the medical equipments from him and gets up from his bed. He barges into Dr. Cuddy's office; she is the hospital admistrator and the only person who would hire Dr. House. He tells her whoever did his surgery screwed up; she asks him if he is not in pain. House states that his neck and abdomen are hurt in but his leg feels perfectly fine. Couple of years earlier Dr. House suffered a leg infarction involving his upper thigh muscle, this injury obligated him to walk with a cane and get addicted to Vicodin which is a narcotic that helped him manage his pain.
He asks Cameron for his records, and she tells him that he knows that the
