Actions are determined by who the people are. Enrique in Sonia Nazario’s book Enrique’s Journey shows how he adjusted. Enrique is a boy in a town in Mexico called Tegucigalpa who has difficulty with money. When his mother leaves him and his sister, they are separated into distinctive homes. While he lives with his father and grandma, he sells spices to earn some money. When people made fun of him and got into a bad group of friends, he started being rude to people. When he met Maria Isabel, he started to become nice again. After his family kicked him out of the house, he tried to find his mother.
