Milton looked at his watch.
It was almost five in the morning. He barely had any sleep last night. He was torn between helping Mary and letting her do what she had to do on her own. Milton knew that he had to step in and make sure Mary was okay. With her third cup of coffee gone, Milton grabbed his phone and called his best sniper.
“Hello, it’s me,” Milton said. “I have a job for you.”
“I’m listening,” the sniper said.
“I want you to take position in the area of the old crayon warehouse,” Milton said. “An exchange will take place there and I want you to take out the man named Steven Lyles. The exchange will happen inside the warehouse. He’s a highly skilled professional at what he does, so you only have one shot.”
“No problem, sir,” the sniper said.
“The exchange will happen at six this morning,” Milton added. “Be there. Once Steven Lyles makes a threatening move against the two females, kill him. It would be difficult to shoot or catch him, once he exits the warehouse premises.”
“Make sure that he doesn’t leave the warehouse premises,” Milton said.
“Understood,” the sniper said.
Milton hung up.
