Once upon a time in Dallas, Texas lived these two girls named Gracie and Raquel Lopez. Gracie was the daughter Raquel. But they wanted to fight for what is right… making men and women equal. Gracie was young and was so confused of what was happening.
“Mom, why do we have to sit all the way in the back?” said Gracie
Raquel whispered to Gracie, “In our community, girls don’t have the same option as boys do.”
Gracie thinks and tells her mom, “One day I would make this community equal and let girls have the freedom as boys do.”
“If only you can, but your too young. When you get older we can make women and men equal.” Raquel tells Gracie
15 years later Gracie finally realized that she wants to make her community fair. Just like she wanted when she was smaller.

“This is unfair mom! We need to do something about it! We have been waiting for years to make everything the way it is supposed to be!” Gracie yelled Raquel stood up and pushed back her chair just to say, “Your right! We have been mistreated for years now. It’s time to take a stand. We need to gather up all the girls in our community and do a protest against our government.”
