This film includes a few well-known actors and I believe that they played their parts exceptionally. Julia Roberts is an amazing actor and was a perfect fit for this film. Her great shape helps play out her role as Erin Brockovich and and her language and voice is great when she is being stern and to trying to prove her point. Roberts ability to talk kindly and connect to the residents. Albert Finney who plays Edward L. Masry, does a great performance, his age helps him play the part well because the character is an old white male. The relationship between Roberts and Finney makes the story more believable because the characters are supposed to be in partnership for the case.

This is a true story, which means all the characters in this film are real people. The main two characters are Erin Brockovich and Edward Masry. Erin is a single mother of three and while struggling to find a job she gets hit by a doctor in a car incident and lost her injury lawsuit. She ends up asking her lawyer, Ed Masry, for a job and soon becomes his filing assistant and became the one to make a shocking discovery. George is Erin's boyfriend in the movie and I believe is a great help in the story because he was the one who was taking care of the children while she was busy taking on the entire case. Ed and Erin needed one piece of information to fully win the case and they struggled to find it until the end. Donna Jensen is the first case that started it
