If you had a sister and you never got to bond or even say one word to her, would she even be a real sister. Eri never comes out of her room and if she does no one in the house hears or sees her walking around. The only thing that shows that she is awake at some points is that the food on the plate that is gone by morning. Mari should not fix the relationship between her and Eri because Eri will not give Mari the time to fix the problems. Eri will never want a relationship with her sister, especially since she doesn't leave her room. Eri never gave Mari the time to fix any of their misconceptions throughout the book. “ It might be more accurate to say she wouldn't give me the time of day.” (Pg 16). This quote is proving
