However, unlike atheism where all people under that faith believe the same thing, there is some diversity among Christians concerning certain beliefs, for example, some Christians do not believe in the resurrection of the body, just the spirit. Comparing this to their eschatological viewpoints shows not only the diversity in opinion, but the positive attitude towards humanity and “the end”. Christians believe that their death is not their end, but rather a passage from this world to the next world, which is eternal. Analyzing the two contexts has helped me look at each background in a different way. Atheists usually stick to what they know, and in my experience when one may try to suggest the idea of an alternate reality, they usually combatively deny that alternative because it is outside of what they know. They do not want to face another reality because they do not want to be wrong, like no one wants to be wrong. On the other side believers tend to have a more dynamic view of reality by looking at our living as a part one to a two part series. Not all believe the same things, but some do, and that fact is okay. Finally, secularists tie everything together by drawing from both perspectives in making decisions and developing stances. Although the presence of religion is not omnipresent in America anymore, people still use it to make judgements about their own forms of reality and help them ultimately try to understand the world we live
