The patient was admitted to the emergency department unconscious, hyperthermia, tachycardia, tachypnea, and low blood pressure. Some of the signs and symptoms of E. coli include bleeding, confusion, fever, and kidney failure. The patient also has kidney dysfunction and urinary retention that led to the Escherichia coli septic shock.
