I will be comparing The Wizard of Oz and Alice Through the Looking Glass. The story elements I will be comparing are Characters,and setting. The reason I chose the Wizard of oz to compare to alice through the looking glass. Is because in both stories the main protagonist goes to a make believe land.Then shortly after that,they meet many make believe characters. Another reason why I chose to compare these to movies is because I think they are both very good movies. Now on with the essay.
The characters of Alice Through the Looking Glass and The Wizard of Oz,are kind of alike but not really.The similarities are that the main protagonist meets many make believe people to help them out.Another similarity is that the 2 movies have 1-2 main antagonists.The Characters that are in Alice Through the Looking Glass include Alice,The Mad Hatter,The White Queen,and The Queen of Hearts.Some of the characters in The Wizard of Oz include The Wicked WItch of the West,Dorothy,Toto(Dorothy's dog),and The White Witch.The two Antagonist would be The Queen of Hearts,and The Wicked Witch of the West.Who both are villains because the have been lied to by someone.This was the character of the 2 movies…show more content… The setting of these 2 movies are relatively the same.They both take place and a make believe land with about 2 main goal,to get back home and help out others.In Alice Through the Looking Glass the setting take place in a make believe land that alice has visited before,but The Mad Hatter has gone crazy.In The Wizard of Oz The setting is also in a make believe land,but instead of helping out 1 person,she helped out about 4 people.The exact setting for The Wizard of Oz is the Land of Oz.The exact setting in Alice Through the Looking Glass is
