In a special education needs setting there are children who have learning difficulties. Karim would be one of the student with this. A special educational needs teacher, special education needs assistant, support assistant or therapist might ignore and fail to attend a person’s needs. This could mean that not all the following practitioners might give as much support to Karim when a test is happening, due to their target grade and might help a few individuals. This would reduce Karim feeling unwanted and useless and this would lack social support. The school receptionist could have listened and been aware what Karim might do and shout at Karim or report the problem if Karim does anything rather than ignoring him.
