Hypnosis is a technique which has been recognized for thousands of years which clinicians make suggestions to people who have experienced a procedure made to relax them and focus their minds. Hypnosis is a natural state of selective, focused attention, it is one of the most fascinating phenomena of the human mind. Hypnosis is a resembling sleep only superficially and marked by a functioning of the individual at a level of awareness different for the ordinary conscious state. This state is sectioned by a degree of increased receiving and responding to which inner experiential perceptions are given as much significance as is generally given only to external reality.
