While World War II was going on, Japanese Americans were being accused of sending American information back to Japan. Because of these suspicions, President Roosevelt decided to issue an executive order that allowed all military to move all of the West Coast Japanese Americans into interment camps. Many of them lost many of their own personal and special belongings because they were limited onto what they could bring into these interment camps. The forceful action of making Japanese Americans live in these interment camps is a violation yo the constitution that states all people are equal under the law. As a result of this, Japanese Americans felt betrayed and upset by the country that they're living in. The action of this horrible and unjust discrimination led to "yellow peril". "Yellow peril" was against all Asians and limited them with land, jobs, and other opportunities that whites people have.
As you can see, these two groups of people were treated with nothing but disrespect. Both Japanese Americans and Native Americans have been denied of their basic human rights. Thankfully, times have changed and these two groups of people have all of their rights back. Native Americans and Japanese Americans both went through the hardships of discrimination solely because of unjust government
