Well Jean Talon had done more things in his life and could’ve done more if King Louis listened to him. Jean Talon listened to the king and made sure he didn’t disobey the king by doing his job. Since, he didn’t do anything he wasn’t supposed to he did many things like organizing the building of sawmill, increased trade with the french colonies in the Caribbean, and increased immigration from France. However, Count Frontenac didn’t follow the king’s orders which led him to have less time to help New France ( the king probably would have let him work for more years if he hadn’t done disobeyed him). Jean Talon worked hard for the benefit of New France and not just for himself, he tried to make New France succeed by doing things like organizing the building of many things and creating surveys. It shows that he worked hard for France because he set up an efficient administration to help New France succeed after its downfall but King Louis ignored his suggestions. However, Count Frontenac did try to help New France but was because he wanted some money from the fur trade, if he had tried to do something that he thought would benefit New France without the thought of money. They were both good at increasing the wealth of New France because Frontenac helped with Fur Trade which increased the wealth and Talon increased the wealth by all of his
