Identity is a way a person describes him or herself and know where in society they fit or feel belonged. An identity is a way to define who you are and how society groups and classifies you. Based on what your sexual orientation,ethnic group, skin color, religion, etc a society can favor you or discriminate you.It is very important to have an identity and be confident in your identity because it allows people to stand out as individuals, feel important and fit into a certain group in society. The word Nigga and Nigger may look similar but they have completely different meaning.The word Nigger is an extremely offensive and derogatory word used against African Americans for centuries.The word Nigger was used as a racial slur since Africans came to America as slaves and it is still used by racist people.The word Nigga which came from the word Nigger has become a popular slang used by many people, mainly African Americans, but other races also say it.The word nigga become so popular it has become part of African American culture.Today almost everyone knows …show more content…
