Question 1 Answer:
I am a very organized and extremely hard worker. I have exceeded expectations even with a learning disability. I am also extremely positive. I feel these attributes make me unique. I am well organized, and it shows in my school work which is neat and consistently turned in on time. I am a very hard worker, I pay attention in class, make sure I understand what we are learning, and ask questions if I need clarification on a subject that I do not understand. I always do my homework and try as hard as I can to get good grades. Even with a learning disability, I have been able to meet and in some cases exceed the demands of a busy high school schedule while participating in sports, choir, and animal rights club activities. I have an extremely positive attitude towards life and all living things.
I have also been successful in sports and singing. I sang and performed in middle school and garnered a speaking part in the musical and carried this on in high school. I love to sing, not only solo, but with the choir as well. At the end of my sophomore year, I sang an entire solo song in French, which was impressive since I did not know any French at all at that time. I am now taking French and am enjoying it even more than I thought I would. I also played a little basketball in middle school which I also continued in high school. I made the freshman team and we had a very good season. In my sophomore year, I assisted the team, which took up a lot of time but was well worth it. I have gained perseverance and leadership skills through these endeavors. I also decided to try throwing the shot put and discus and fell in love with both! I jumped at the chance to be a part of an awesome team of girls who like to do the same. I even traveled to Indiana for 2 days last summer to go through a throwers camp, which was taught by college coaches from Notre Dame, Perdue, and many other college coaches, on their way to the Olympics! I have tried new things all through my school years, which takes hard work, bravery, a positive attitude and above all hard work!
