In my opinion I feel that both the parents and the child should be held responsible. The parents should have to pay for the damages done and the pain and suffering caused to the families involved. Ethan Couch obviously doesn't have the any money because his parents just give it to him, which is why I am saying that they should be held financially responsible. I think that Ethan should be held criminally responsible for his actions. He knew what he was doing and was the one that did it, he should be able to walk free just because he is rich.
