Have you ever been faced with an ethical dilemma? If you do not know what an ethical dilemma is, it is a choice between two options, both of which will bring a negative result based on society and personal guidelines. In this paper, I will give a description of an ethical dilemma, examination of relevant core Christian beliefs, a resolution according to Christian worldview, evaluation of consequences and benefits of resolution, and a comparison of other resolutions with Christian worldview.
Ethical Dilemma

Even though she would have a baby with Down syndrome, she would grow closer to God. Suffering tends to keep us humble and dependent on Christ. While going through life’s different trails, we experience God’s amazing love for humanity and trust Him to shape us into what he wants us to become.
Resolution
The Christian thing to do in this Ethical Dilemma would be to have the baby. In Jeremiah 1:5, NIV we read about God knowing us before we are born; “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Yes, the blood work shows the baby has Down syndrome, but what if the blood work is wrong. Susan would then have a healthy baby, which she has tried for several years to conceive. However if the blood work was correct, Susan needs to count her blessing. God chose to give her a child that she so desperately wanted.
Evaluation
The consequences of the resolution is the baby would have Down syndrome. Susan would not experience a balance between her career and family life. The baby would live a life of suffering because she chose to bring the baby into the world with Down syndrome. The perceived benefit of this resolution is the baby is born without having Down
