Ethics in the criminal justice system is customary when the administration measures are sometime virtuous and imperfect, attractive and unattractive and the ideas of production values are perceptive that this may be right and wrong. Working in the criminal justice system, every decision and results must meet the needs of the citizens and the law enforcement in regards to the balancing concern. Many of law enforcement officers’ today neglect to adapt to the high ethical morals because he or she may be enticed by the enormous bribes originating from drug organizations. In addition, the law enforcement officers are force to take pay cut. This has caused great stress that has affected the law enforcement officers in the State of Michigan. Some of the law enforcement officers are face with the temptations of drug money found from drug bust or taking illegal job just to make end met. This rigid and strict structure is using not been by unsupervised actions with less accountability.
Another area of ethical conduct that should be discussed reason is organizational value of loyalty over integrity in the police force. In certain instances, this culture is observed and followed regardless of the knowledge of the commission of crime by their superiors or fellow police officers. values that are not just the stated policy of conduct expected of law enforcement officials. They are a set of values that the officers who swear their allegiance to not only abide by but should believe in out of respect for their predecessors as well as their profession.
