In act 3, Othello uses pathos to convince himself that Desdemona is cheating on him. Igoa has convinced Othello that his wife is cheating on him, but Othello doesn’t know if she is or not . In act 3, pathos in effect because Iago is convincing Othello that his wife is cheating so Othello is persuaded that yes indeed his wife could be cheating on him.
