When looking at the preface for this document, it points out the path to a holistic development is liberating education and training. This group of bishops, priests, and religious individuals believe it is the Latin American Church’s responsibility to evangelize the poor. When evangelism comes to the forefront of my mind, I tend to think of people shoving their embedded theology down my throat and using it as a forceful tactic. From what I am gathering, these people of faith want to practice the demands of God on the poverty stricken community in Latin America.
