Everest base camp trek is an adventure trip to reach the base camp (5364 m) of Mount Everest on foot. It takes twenty-one days hiking that starts after Kathmandu-Jiri bus tour (8 hours). The route goes along the rugged Dudh Kosi valley and Sagarmatha National Park. The tea house or guided treks lead to a dream destination. The mountain views, such as Mt Makalu (8463 m), Mt. Lhotse (8516 m), Mt. Everest (8848 m) and Mt. Cho Oyu (8201 m) are fascinating. Kalapathar (5545 m) is the best viewpoint for the Everest, Khumbu Glacier (32 km), Ice Pinnacles, Lhotse and Pumori; however the highest peak cannot see from its base camp.
