Hope is every where
Hope can be hard to find, but it’s there just look harder. People say there is no hope, but there is hope no matter what. Hope is important because hope is all they got. In the book The Outsiders hope is important because you never know what can happen. S.E. Hinton says hope can be hard to find but it’s there, just look harder.
People hope something happens a lot, in the book The Outsiders when Ponyboy is walking home Ponyboy gets jumped but nothing really happens. “Then there was a shout and the rounding feet and the socs were running away (6)”. Soda had to drop out of school to pay the bills, sometimes life isn’t fair and you have to live with it. “Cause I’m dumb. The only things I was passing in were auto mechanics and gym (17)”. Ponyboy hopes Darry can understand that he’s not trying to get jumped on purpose. People need hope even if it’s all they have. …show more content…
“I half convince myself that I had a dream (68)”. Why is Ponyboy always worried? Instead of being worried he should be hoping. “Maybe he had already been worked over with the fuzz (78)”. Why does Dally have to be so though and hard headed. And that’s why pony hopes that something happens or does he just lie to himself.
Being an outsider is no good. And that the greasers aren’t any different than the socs. And besides, we wanted to show those socs we weren’t bad and that we were just as good as they are. Ponyboy got hurt and now he is feeling better to fight. “I thought you were in the hospital (143)”. He hoped to win and to prove their innocence and that’s exactly what they did. “They’re running, I heard a voice yell joyfully (145)”.
Hope is there even if it’s hard to find. Hope is good to have, even if you don’t have much of it. Just know it’s there. Hope can’t be forgotten about because it’s so important. Some people always forget about hope. That’s why hope is there even if it's hard to
